Today is the first day of Flummer.  Fall+Summer.  Jacket in the morning, sunscreen and shorts in the daytime.

at long last

It's been a while.  I didn't even actually look at my blog because I don't want to know how long exactly it has been since my last post.  Ten very important things that have happened recently(in no particular order):
1. I declared my major!!  Exercise and wellness
2. School started
3. I moved out of my parent's house!
4. London reunion happened.
5. My sister is getting MARRIED next month!!
6. I went on a cruise to Alaska with the fam damily!! 
7. I got to go to California for the first time in THREE years (still not to Disneyland though :( )
8. I became an official member of Costco.  To be precise, I am an EXECUTIVE member!
9. I decided that I have small feet for how tall I am (7.5 shoe, 5'9" tall)
10. The trees are starting to change colors on the mountains.

You are now probably thinking to yourself, no wonder she hasn't updated her blog, her life is pretty boring.

Idaho, lake powell, cupcakes and hair

A couple of weeks ago I made the trek up to Rexburg, Idaho to visit Caity, one of my closest friend's from London!!  Luckily, Anna came with to play too!!

 The above picture looks much worse than it actually is.  Beaver Dick PARK is just outside of Rexburg.  It's very pretty.  This is the only picture we took of all three of us, thus I included the bordering on scandalous photo.

 Few remember that I attended BYU-Idaho for my entire first year of college(even I forget sometimes)  Angie and Dara are two of the most amazing girls I know and now they're MARRIED WITH A KID EACH!!!

Only mere days after returning home from Idaho, I took a trip to the Lake.  Lake Powell.

Caitlyn fed me lunch so I could keep my eyes on the road ahead.

 

 

 

When I returned home from Lake Powell, my parents had flown away to Hawaii and Nick and Amanda were staying with us!  To celebrate Nick finishing his med school application, Amanda made cupcakes to decorate!

I sent my mom the above picture and this is the conversation which followed

Mom(over text message): Who is that long haired kid in the picture?

Amanda: Brian, do you like your hair that long?

Brian: I like the sides this long, but the top could be a bit shorter.

(awkward pause)

Amanda: That's called a mullet.  Most people don't like that.

Last night Alyson mentioned the fact that I have been taking prescription pain medication.  I just want to make sure everyone understands that the drugs were prescribed by a licensed medical professional to relive migraine pain.  Thank you.

 My sister Alyson deserves the award for best sister ever. She sat and helped me re-vamp my blog w]hile I was high on l[]ortab. {S]he [eve]n pu[t u]p[ ]with [me ]doi[g]ng crap on the keyboard while she was trying to type this blog post. She is the best sister ever.
